General FAQ & Help Center
What is IndoCanada Professionals?
IndoCanada Professionals is a not-for-profit association of Indian professionals and newcomers in Canada. We provide networking, mentoring and educational workshops, plus job referrals, resume reviews, settlement guidance and community groups, to help members thrive professionally and personally in Canada.
Is there really no cost to use the platform?
Yes. IndoCanada Professionals is 100% free to join and use. There are no registration fees, premium tiers or hidden charges. All our resources, guides and the matrimony service are offered free of charge as a community service.
How does the Help Desk process work?
You submit a help request saying what you need, for example career advice, housing support or tax guidance. A club admin reads it and, if a volunteer is the right fit, assigns one by hand. Volunteers are members who have been here longer, not licensed professionals, so nothing they tell you is legal, immigration or tax advice.
How can I volunteer or become a mentor?
You can apply to volunteer by creating an account and completing the volunteer profile form. An admin reads every application. Once yours is approved you start receiving case assignments, based on the availability and case limit you chose.
Is my personal information kept secure?
Your help request is read by a club admin, and by the volunteer they assign to it if they assign one. No other member sees it. Member-to-member chats are end-to-end encrypted, which means the club cannot read them either. Your email address is never shown to another member; your phone number is shown only if you put it on your profile, or to a matrimony match after you accept their interest. The privacy policy lists the companies that host the service on our behalf.
