Our Community Engagement Sessions are held on the first Saturdays of April and October, designed to foster meaningful connections within our diverse community. Each session is hosted in accessible venues across the city, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate.
The day begins with a welcome speech that highlights the importance of community unity and an introduction to the day’s activities. Following this, participants can join various cultural workshops, ranging from local cooking classes that introduce participants to regional cuisines to art workshops where local artists teach traditional and contemporary techniques.
A significant feature of these sessions is the “Cultural Exchange Market” where local artisans and entrepreneurs showcase their crafts and services, encouraging support for local businesses and providing a platform for artisans to expand their reach. This market not only boosts the local economy but also serves as a networking hub for attendees.
